Ground Water Flooding Getting You Stuck in the Mud?
Stop walking through a boggy backyard or watching storm runoff pour into the garage. We design, clear and install stormwater drainage across Brisbane & North Brisbane that gets water off your block and out to the street.
✓ Natural fall & 200mm+ head charged lines
✓ Servicing North Brisbane since 2015
Channel grates & stormwater pits installed correctly
Half the flooded yards we visit already have a drain pit—it was just set too high, laid on dirt without concrete, or hooked up to a small pipe that chokes in the first summer storm.
- Laser-levelled at the true low pointSet slightly below your grass or paving so sheet water drops straight in instead of pooling around the rim.
- Concrete-haunched driveway gratesBedded in concrete with traffic-rated grates so cars and utes never crush or rock them loose.
- Subsoil ag-pipe for muddy lawnsSlotted ag-pipe in washed gravel and filter sock to catch underground seepage and dry out soggy turf.
- Blocked stormwater clearing & no-dig reliningHigh-pressure jetting ($150 off blocked drains*) and no-dig pipe relining for broken pipes under driveways.

Natural fall, charged lines & when you need a pump
Before we quote, we check your levels to see how we can get water out to the street kerb cleanly:
Natural Fall
When your yard and downpipes sit higher than the street kerb, we run pipes on a continuous downward grade to the street so every pit, channel grate and downpipe drains completely dry by gravity.
200mm Head Pressure to the Street
On flat or slightly rear-sloping blocks, a sealed charged line from your roof downpipes holds water underground and uses fresh rain to push straight out to the kerb. We like to have at least 200mm of head pressure above the street outlet so heavy rain pushes through without a pump.
Do I Need a Stormwater Pump?
You only need a stormwater pump pit when surface water pools on the ground in a low backyard, sunken patio, basement or driveway that sits lower than the street kerb—where natural fall and 200mm head pressure aren’t possible.

Stormwater FAQs
How do charged drainage lines hold water and push through?
A charged line is a sealed PVC pipe network from your roof downpipes to the kerb. The underground belly holds water between storms, and as soon as new rain drops down your downpipes—where we like to have 200mm of head pressure above the kerb—gravity pushes the water straight out to the street.
Do I actually need a stormwater pump?
Not if we have natural fall or 200mm of head pressure for a charged roof line. You only need a pump pit when surface water pools in a low yard, patio or driveway that sits lower than the street kerb.
Can you connect a yard pit into a charged line?
Never. A charged line holds roof water under head pressure—if someone tees an open ground pit into it, all the water off your roof will pour out of the ground pit and flood your lawn.
What if my existing stormwater pipe is blocked or broken under concrete?
Our licensed, experienced team clear blocked stormwater drains with our high-pressure water jetter and camera ($150 off blocked drains*), and repair cracked pipes under driveways with our no-dig pipe relining solution.
