Camp Hill: Hills, Family Homes and Old Cleveland Road
Built on hills. Camp Hill climbs to Whites Hill in the south, about 112 metres above sea level, with Sankeys Mountain close by, and in the 2000s the suburb was marketed on its city views. On a sloping block, rain races towards the lowest pit, and a pit packed with leaves or silt spills over fast.

The tram extension along Old Cleveland Road, made public in 1924 and opened in 1925, set off a real estate boom, and Camp Hill matured into a mix of interwar and postwar housing.
