Annerley: The Ridge, Queenslanders and Ipswich Road
1920s Queenslanders. A housing boom in the 1920s left neighbourhoods of timber Queenslanders on 32-perch blocks or two consolidated 16-perch blocks, and many have since been restored. A century-old sewer line under a restored house may still be the original pipe, with joints that roots can enter.
